About Boracay Terraces Resort
The Banaue Rice Terraces in the northern part of the Philippines is one of the famous man-made wonders of the world. Grains of rice are planted on land that has been shaped like a giant staircase. Many tourists who have seen the terraces would agree that they are indeed breathtaking. It is no wonder then, that the architecture of Boracay Terraces Resort was inspired by this iconic beauty.
Boracay Terraces embraces everything Filipino, as evident from the hospitable staff to the tiniest resort details like paintings and handicrafts. It is also one of the few resorts in Boracay that promotes environment-friendly facilities.
The main Boutique Hotel consists of 2 kinds of rooms to choose from: the Deluxe Room and Family Room. Decorations here are inspired by the three groups of islands in the Philippines - Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. These enhancements include the Ifugao weavings of Luzon, bamboo crafts of Visayas, and the calming wall colors as inspired by the culture of Mindanao. Rooms open to a veranda that allows guests to have a relaxing view of the sand, sea and sky.
The Taj Suites are located right in front of the beach and are equipped with floor to ceiling glass windows, allowing guests to have a majestic view of the White Beach just outside its doors. The three adjoining suites can be booked together like a private vacation home, perfect for a small family gathering.
The Balay Apartelle, located on the moutain side of the resort, is a short leisurely walk to the main beach. Each apartelle is like a small apartment, fully-equipped with a kitchen, living area, and a spacious private porch. Within the premises of the Balay Apartelle is a small lagoon-shaped swimming pool that can be enjoyed by the guests, truly making it a home away from home.
Another very Filipino detail inside the premises of Boracay Terraces are the duyans (native hammock made of abaca). Here, guests can relax under the shade of palm trees during early mornings or lazy afternoons. Similarly, the Duyan Spa offers relaxing massage and spa treatments inside open-aired cabanas. The relaxation process is further enhanced by the calming sound of the waves as it slowly crashes into the shores of Boracay.
So if you want to bask in the Filipino culture, Boracay Terraces is definitely a luxurious resort to consider.
